This classification system is for how to understand in a practical manner what privacy is for any specific context.

Contextual Privacy Classification

  • No-Consent (no-transparency)
  • No-Consent (but notice)
  • Implied Consent (notice and choice)
  • Explicit Consent
  • Self-Soverign Consent – (user driven and controlled)
